I had a story sitting around collecting dust that probably should have been out in the wild for ages now. Since I have the ability to release stuff at my leisure, I’ve decided to serialize it into three parts.
Part one is up on my Patreon right now for free.
I’ve been continuing to chunk away at a few different projects, one of which I got stuck on for a while. That always sucks, lemme tell ya. The answer I needed was sitting down and re-watching David Lynch’s Lost Highway, something I haven’t seen since high school.
For a movie I didn’t love in high school, I not only loved it more now, but it helped clear up a few things for me in the projects I was working on. Whenever that happens, I’m happy. It also led me to giving David Bowie’s album Outside another good listen. I understand why it didn’t work for me when I was younger, but god damn is that a great album.
Keep challenging yourself. If something bounces off of you for one reason or another, don’t be afraid to revisit it and prove your past self wrong.
It’s fun.
